About this Cooking Class
Young sushi lovers unite! This is your opportunity to learn how easy it is to make sushi and impress your friends with killer skills and just a couple of tools you can get at the supermarket or online. Join us in the Parties That Cook Kitchen for a competitive Friday night of hands-on sushi making for Bay Area singles. In this technique-driven "Chopped-like" activity, guests are divided into small teams and face off in a timed sushi battle. After enjoying our complimentary zensaimori (Japanese-inspired appetizer) platter and a beverage, you'll put on your aprons and best game faces as the group is divided into teams. You'll learn to make a combo of raw, cooked, and sweet sushi, including Salmon Tartar Rolls with Avocado, Scallions and Sesame, Inside-Out Roll of Thinly-Sliced Ham, Pineapple and Jalapeno, Quinoa-Cucumber Rolls with Miso Dressed Purple Cabbage, Carrots, Daikon and Shiso and Steamed Prawn Roll, Cucumber and Avocado with Jalapeño Mayonnaise. Come roll with us!
We welcome your arrival at the Parties That Cook Kitchen with soft beverages.
Please bring a bottle (or two) of wine or sake to enjoy and share with the group. No hard alcohol please. This is a BYOB event.
