Who can resist cupcakes? They are so tempting when you see them in the bakery case - a perfect treat made for one! In this exciting baking class, Parties That Cook Chef Mike Chapter will lead you on a sweet exploration of cupcake-making just in time for the holidays.
You'll learn to prepare four different cupcakes, fillings and frostings, including a Marshmallow-Filled S'more Cupcake, a Caramel Toffee Cupcake with Salted Caramel Bourbon Sauce, a cool Chocolate Mint Pattie cupcake and a classic Luscious Red Velvet Cupcake. Chef Mike will guide you through the tips and tricks to achieve a soft crumb, how to create a decadent filling, and how to create and pipe the ultimate frosting and decorations.

About Chef Mike Chapter
A recent transplant from the Windy City of Chicago, Chef Mike studied the art and science of food & nutrition at Purdue University and graduated from Kendall College with a concentration in culinary arts. After working in the corporate test kitchens of Kraft Foods, Mike formally began his teaching career at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Boston. He has worked as a consultant for many large food companies, offering recipe and product development services, food styling, prototyping and writing. He teaches culinary classes to novices, and food enthusiasts and as a faculty of Kendall College and Triton College. He enjoys traveling throughout the world to experience culture and cuisine.
