Parties That Cook hosts an interactive San Francisco Bay Area farm-to-table cooking class at Canvas Ranch

San Francisco, CA August 23, 2011 - Want to experience true farm-to-table dining, but don’t know where to start? Dinner will be as fresh as it gets with Parties That Cook’s outdoor farm-to-table cooking class held at Canvas Ranch in Petaluma, Calif. on Saturday, September 17, 2011, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Before preparing dinner using farm-fresh ingredients, guests will learn about fresh and local produce grown at Canvas Ranch with a tour of the 28-acre family-owned farm. Working together in teams with guidance from Parties That Cook’s professional chefs, guests will prepare and enjoy a seasonally inspired four-course dinner on the farm.

“Our first San Francisco farm-to-table event was such a success, we’re excited to host another in the area,” said Bibby Gignilliat, founder of Parties That Cook. “These events are fun and informative for everyone, regardless of cooking experience. Tickets for the San Francisco Bay Area farm-to-table event are $135 per person and include a tour of Canvas Ranch, professional cooking instruction from experienced chefs, four-course dinner with farm-fresh ingredients, seated dinner service, copies of recipes and photos from the evening. Guests are asked to bring a bottle of wine to share with the group and must wear flat shoes for the farm tour.
