Listed in San Francisco's 7x7 "Best of Issue," Business 2.0 magazine and featured on CNBC's business show On the Money*, the Kitchen Challenge cooking party is satisfying the competitive edge as well as the hunger of more than a few culinary guests.

During the Kitchen Challenge, groups are divided into teams and assigned the mission to create an entree that focuses on three main ingredients. Teams are given recipe guidelines and a pantry of ingredients. Experienced chefs are on hand to provide individual team coaching and of course the final judging. Teams have one hour to meet, create, and prepare their gourmet meal and to make a plated presentation to the judges. Teams are graded on presentation, teamwork and taste.

Available for corporate teambuilding groups and private celebrations, the Kitchen Challenge competition raises the heat in the kitchen to a whole new level.

"Food is the universal language and nothing brings people together better than cooking," says Parties that Cook founder Bibby Gignilliat. "Our Kitchen Challenge event is a very popular corporate team building event."

"Building consensus, communicating, setting goals and meeting deadlines. These exercises in the kitchen can be taken right back to the office," she explains.

So strap on an apron and turn up the oven. Sharpen your knives and sharpen your competitive edge. The recipe for your teams' success could be one party away at the Kitchen Challenge. For more information, contact Parties That Cook info@PartiesThatCook.com.
