When it comes to couples cooking up romance, Parties That Cook has had success with at least one engagement. When a diamond ring was secretly embedded in a red pepper and revealed during a cooking demonstration, a participating guest popped the question to his then girlfriend. During the Valentine’s Day events, guests will heat up the kitchen while they sip wine, listen to upbeat music and work in teams to create mouthwatering dishes from the evening’s Sumptuous Small Plates menu. Parties That Cook designs fresh seasonal menus for each event. No cooking experience is required for participants, and each class includes an expert culinary demonstration, an interactive cooking session with guidance from professional chefs and a gourmet meal, followed by digital photos and copies of the recipes post-event.
