Classes will take place on Wednesday evenings throughout April and May 2009 in the Dacor demonstration kitchen. $45 admission includes a two-hour hands-on cooking class with a menu of international appetizers that showcase seasonal ingredients fresh from the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

Guests will be treated to a lively introductory cooking lesson by Parties That Cook lead chef John Silva, featuring practical tips for selecting and cooking with seasonal Farmers Market ingredients like asparagus, broccoli rabe, fava beans and wild nettles. Guests will be split into teams to work on an array of international appetizer recipes, all while listening to upbeat music in the open-air atmosphere of the Ferry Plaza. The group will savor the fruits of their labor with a glass of complimentary wine after the cooking is done! After the event, copies of the recipes and digital photos will be sent to the group.
