Parties that Cook founder and head chef Bibby Gignilliat left the corporate world and found success in the kitchen – other people's kitchens that is! After a successful career in marketing for Williams Sonoma, Inc. Gignilliat decided to follow her culinary dream and founded her first hands-on cooking party company Gourmet Gatherings in 1999. Gignilliat and Gourmet Gatherings appeared on Food Network's "Recipe for Success", NBC's Today Show, ABC News in Chicago, among other broadcast and print media.
With the company's portfolio of Fortune 500 clients growing in leaps and bounds, Gignilliat decided to refine her initial in-home cooking-class concept. In 2006 Gignilliat created her new company Parties that Cook to better serve her expanding base of corporate companies.
