Experience something HOT! HOT! HOT! this winter! Let San Francisco's premiere gourmet entertainment company, Parties That Cook, get your year off to a sizzling start. Succulent is the perfect evening of mixing and mingling for gay men with culinary prowess or for those who appreciate such talents and zesty energy in the kitchen!

At this hands-on cooking party, guests will learn gourmet-cooking techniques, eat delicious food, drink their favorite bottle of wine (BYOW) and meet other fun gay men and couples. No prior cooking experience is needed to attend.

Guests are greeted at the door with a nibble and a nametag. After professional chefs provide an introductory cooking lesson featuring tips like the fastest way to dice an onion without a tear, guests are broken into cooking teams. Each team works on a recipe from the evening's tapas menu, while sipping wine and listening to upbeat music. The group savors the fruits of their labor with new friends (or maybe a new hottie!) After the event, copies of the recipes, digital photos and e-mail addresses are sent to the group.

Parties That Cook designs fresh seasonal tapas menus for each event. Lamb Skewers with Mint Pesto, Blue Cheese and Pecan Puff Pastry Spirals, Sweet Potato Galettes with Bacon and Sour Cream, and Key Lime Tartlets with Graham Cracker Crust are some of the Succulent Small Plates we'll whip up that evening.
